Definitely checking this out when i'm down in London, excited to see what's featured!
CHECK US OUT! I'm very happy to be part of the Manchester School of Art reunion exhibition, NEW BREED next week, if you're free pop down to the Coningsby Gallery on Monday for the private view, it's gonna be a good'un!
Its taken many a late night of organising and emailing to get the exhibition prepared, but I'm sure all the work will be worth it when we finally have everyone's work hanging on the walls! Definitely worth a peek, there's some brilliant illustrators from Manchester featured. Check out the blog for links to the various illustrator's websites....

Just a little idea for a name for our London exhibition, New Breed is much better!

Le Tour de France has just finished, and I found a cool book buried on my bookshelf about the history of the tour. Drawing I did of these two cyclists enjoy a cigarette together towards the end of the tour!

Manchester School of Art degree show! A moth's worth of very very little sleep led up to this, however dissapointed I was with the end result at first, a huge amount of relief and pride came from seeing the whole show set up. Here I am working up to the final hour setting my space up. The show as a whole looked so professional, I was proud of everyone.

Bangers and Fash...the guys from Nottingham brought their night of music, fashion and art to Manchester's Deaf Institute. I was asked to do some live drawing at the event, so i nipped in earlier in the day to do some prep work. On the night, i was asked to draw on a door! Slightly daunting at first, I quickly got into it, and realy enjoyed the night. I also sold prints and tote bags at the event. More photos to come of the door when I find them!
So, I graduated with a 1st from Illustration with Animation at Manchester School of Art! A lovely, emotional day was had, as lots of my friends have moved all over the country, and some, even abroad. Anyway, the past 3 years have been amazing, i'm very sad to leave.
I haven't had much success with my previous blog, I'm a "leave it till later" girl when it comes to digitally recording my thought processes, thats what my hand-written, scratty, loosely illustrated journal's for. But i feel that now I have graduated, I will start to pick up adult traits. Recording and documenting my days may just help to trigger ideas. I will continue to stick and doodle absolutly anything I can get my hands on in my journal, my blog, however, should force me to be more selective.
Fingers crossed!
